The following are the most frequently asked questions we receive at Keysers. These will help you and guide you through our process at Keysers.

Are you a second hand shop or do you sell new products as well?

We deal in both new and used products. However, we are better known for our high quality, pre-loved camera equipment. We strive to provide to bring the best possible, used photography equipment to our clients. If you are in need of any specific product and you can’t find it on our website, please do contact our office via email and we’ll try and assist as best as possible.

Do you accept credit cards?

We accept all major debit and credit cards as well as insurance claim back cards. We however don’t have any machines on our premises as we are working from a private residence, but you can proceed with the payment through our online store.

Where is your store situated?

We are mainly an online-based business. We do however work from a private residence situated in Durbanville, Cape Town, South Africa. As our clients are from various parts of the world we pride ourselves on our excellent reputation and will go far and beyond our clients’ needs. At any time feel free to visit our reviews page at

Do you have any payment options?

We have 3 payment options and all three can be done through the website at

The first option that we accept is all the major debit and credit cards as well as insurance claim back cards.

Secondly, we also have a 3-month lay-by option, where you’ll receive your items once paid in full.

Our final option is cash on collection. We do however try to minimize cash on hand for security reasons.

Can one preview the equipment before purchase?

It is important to note that all images of the products on our website,, are of the actual equipment in stock. However, you are more than welcome to preview the items before purchase, at our residence. (Unfortunately not during Lockdown. As all products then need to be re-sanitized.)

Do you only sell cameras and lenses?

We mainly trade in digital cameras and lenses; however we do trade in lights, flashes, gels, backdrops, filters and basically anything that has to do with photography and/or Videography. If you can’t find something specific you are looking for on, please contact us at and we will try to assist as best as possible.

Do you purchase second hand equipment and how will I sell something to Keysers?

We do purchase previous owned equipment. There is however a process to be followed. You can learn more about this process at and get in contact with us through email at

Do you trade in older film cameras?

There are a few that we do buy and sell. These are mainly sought after bigger name brands like Nikon, Minolta, Canon, Mamiya, Pentax, Leica, etc. The best will be to email Riaan personally with a few photos of your equipment to and he will assist you further. After my purchase, how long does it take for my package to arrive?

If an immediate payment is made, before 12:00, through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) the package will be sent on the same day as purchased. We send our packages using Aramex or Collivery. Delivery can take anything between 2-7 business days, depending on your location. Please bear in mind that no packages will be sent on Fridays as we don’t want any packages sitting in a depot over the weekend for security reasons. Also, it is important to note that packages will only be sent once payment reflects within Keysers accounts.

How can I track my parcel after purchase?
